ATLANTA, April 18, 2022 - The Educated Choices Program (ECP) has partnered with EARTHDAY.org, the world’s largest environmental movement. As a part of this partnership, ECP and EARTHDAY.org will create an educational environmental presentation that will include discussions and scientific information surrounding not only food choices but also food loss, food waste, and the inefficiency of our food system at meeting the nutritional demands of our growing populations. This presentation will also address the personal health, climate, biodiversity, social justice, and public health issues associated with the environmental impacts of our current food system.
This new presentation will be an elevated version of ECP’s current presentation, "The Environment and Modern Agriculture," and will target college-age students and adults offering in-depth content to empower leaders and consumers of today and tomorrow to help create a sustainable food system. The target date for release is Spring 2023.
“We are elated to be partnering with EARTHDAY.org for this incredibly important project! We are positive that this presentation will play a pivotal role in educating society about the many environmental impacts of our current food system and in building a foundation for change.”
says ECP Chief Development and Partnerships Officer Karyn Knox.
This partnership aligns both companies’ efforts to create a healthier, more sustainable future through education and awareness.
