Announces Partnership with Earth Warriors

ATLANTA, May 25, 2023 - The Educated Choices Program (ECP) has announced a partnership with Earth Warriors, an international nonprofit organization providing schools and educators with climate education. The companies have a shared mission to build a healthier, more sustainable future for all by empowering individuals around the world through age-appropriate education.

The effects of climate change are having a major impact on the mental health of youth around the world. Seventy-seven percent of children report experiencing anxiety on the topic, and nearly half do not trust adults to handle the crisis properly. While the need for environmental education grows, seventy-five percent of teachers feel underequipped to effectively educate their students on the current climate.

Earth Warriors and Educated Choices Program were both founded to empower children and teachers to mitigate the effects of climate change with critical education. Earth Warriors introduced the world’s first comprehensive climate change and sustainability curriculum for children ages three through eleven. The Educated Choices Program began educating children as young as twelve and has since expanded to include high school and college students, as well as adults. This partnership will serve to promote access to climate change curriculum for young children and highlight the impact and importance of continuing education as they grow to ensure the development of environmentally-conscious habits and choices.

"Ongoing education regarding our food system is key for young people to develop a true understanding of where their food comes from and its impacts on the world around them. We are proud to partner with Earth Warriors to ensure comprehensive and age-appropriate education at all grade levels!" - Karyn Knox, Chief Development and Partnerships Officer, Educated Choices Program

Positive and solutions-focused climate education is critical for empowering young learners. While we recognise climate change as the biggest threat to our planet, the Earth Warriors curriculum is designed to give students the tools to respond to these challenges. We are delighted to partner with Educated Choices Program as we see a lot of synergy in our approach to education as an empowering tool for students and teachers.“ Shweta Bahri, Co-Founder, Earth Warriors Global
