The Educated Choices Program (ECP) is seeking dedicated and visionary individuals to join our Board of Directors and help us expand our reach, enhance our digital library, and strengthen our global presence.

ECP is a US-based nonprofit organization offering free, standards-aligned educational packages accessed in 63 countries by more than 3.5 million learners to date. Our engaging, research-based presentations empower individuals to make informed choices about food, health, and sustainability. We support educators and community members with engaging and informative professional videos and high-quality lesson plans, activities, and discussion prompts to enhance classroom learning.

Our mission is to provide science-based education about the impact of food choices, empowering current and future consumers and leaders to help create a healthier, more sustainable, and more compassionate food system for all.

Education & Curriculum Expert

Guide our curriculum expansion, ensuring alignment with global academic standards while making our content even more engaging and impactful.

Marketing & Communications Leader

Help shape ECP’s brand, enhance outreach, and support digital marketing campaigns to connect with broader audiences.

Partnership & Development Strategist

Strengthen collaborations with organizations while identifying new corporate and educational partnerships.

Technology & Digital Innovation Expert

Advise on digital library enhancements and innovative ways to integrate technology into our programs.

Fundraising Expert

Lead by example in securing funding and developing strategies to sustain and expand our mission.

While these areas are prioritized, candidates who are passionate about ECP's mission and can bring valuable expertise in other areas are welcome to apply. 

Board Member Commitment

Term Length: Minimum of a three-year commitment.

Meetings: Quarterly virtual board meetings (approx. 4 per year) plus occasional committee meetings as needed.

Time Commitment: Estimated 3-5 hours per month, including meeting preparation and participation in board initiatives.

Engagement: Board members are expected to actively contribute their expertise, attend meetings, support ECP’s growth, and help expand our outreach.
